Ouroboric Body

The Ouroboros, an ancient symbol of a dragon or snake eating its own tail represents the infinite cycle of life and death– creation out of destruction, life out of death. A symbol of eternity and wholeness.

I have always resonated with this symbol as a reminder to recreate myself– that life is a cycle of constant renewal, devouring the old patterns and creating the new.

Our bodies are regenerating constantly– some of our cells only live a few days,  others a few weeks or months; our bone and muscle cells are the longest to regenerate, with a lifespan of about 10 years. So the average adult will be fully structurally regenerated at least 8 times in their life, and superficially almost constantly.  If we change our patterns, our new cells have a chance at a different life. If we repeat the same unhealthy patterns over and over again we are teaching our cells to replicate pain, discomfort, and misalignment. We can recreate ourselves in the same image, or we can feed ourselves a vision of health, vitality, ease, and grace.

Like the snake, your body is constantly eating itself to birth itself anew.

What an incredible opportunity to recreate your body and recreate your life.
